HENRI DUTILLEUX

HENRI DUTILLEUX
SYMPHONIE N°1 (1986)
320 KBPS

Two works from French contemporary composer Henri Dutilleux, his 1rst Symphony and Timbres, Espace, Mouvement can be described as a tribute to sound and senses. The 1rst Symphony (composed in 1951) is a dazzling homage to the large symphony orchestra while Timbres, Espaces, Mouvement (1978) has been inspired by a Van Gogh painting (The Starry Night). Two masterpieces of French contemporary music.

1. Passacaille
2. Scherzo molto vivace
3. Intermezzo
4. Finale con variationi
Timbres, espace, mouvement
