Emilie Simon is one of the newcoming young french artists who are doing pretty well at the moment. Her first release is a truly amazing and surprising album. Her voice is sensual, moving and she sings in both french & english. The music has been cleverly mixed and some songs are stunning. Her mix of electronic music, trip hop and pop works perfectly and I would dare labelling her the French Kate Bush for her angelic/otherworldly qualities. A must hear.
