Once a regular rock band, Tue-Loup expands his spectrum on Penya. To the Neil Young/Noir Désir influences which crafted their previous sound, Tue-Loup adds a twist of jazz and americana that reminds of the excellent French avant-rock band Tanger (for the jazz part, obviously) and Calexico. What was just another French rock band thus becomes an attractive new outfit able to surprise by its rocking freedom and great taste. A very nice album.
