Jil Caplan got her fame from her 80s French pop hits then vanished while her producer, the talented Jay Alansky aka A Reminescent Drive went to start a new career playing melodic, soothing electronic music. Toute Crue, her 2001 return album, sees Jil back and teaming up with ex-Innocents Jipé Nataf for a typical French pop album that will appeal to those loving Françoise Hardy and Jane Birkin. Songs are good and so is the production for an album that, sadly, didn't score as big as it deserved. A must hear if your fond of French pop.

Ne serait-il point possible qu'un jour que stefan poste le fabuleux "la charmeuse de serpents" de la belle jil? J'ai encore la vielle cassette audio de cet album.(malheureusement inutilidsable aa cause de son and age)
Aussi je me demandais si il y a des albums de Jay Alanski qui valent la peine...
