Beware people! Today, New Moodswings brings you one of the most underrated pop goddesses of the French scene! Jil Caplan started her career back in the 80s forming a duet with producer/composer Jay Alansky which bore her name only. Jay later left to pursue a solo career in melodic electronica under the name of A Reminescent Drive and signed to F Communications while Jil vanished from the public eye. That was in 1996 and it took her five to release a new album, Toute Crue which's been posted on this very page, where she teamed up with ex-Innocents Jipé Nataf for a delightful and subtle result.
This 2007 release sees the charming lady digging even deeper in her little pop world and offering us 11 excellent compositions that level up with the best female pop around and, guess what, Jay is back! If you don't yet know Jil's work, don't miss the opportunity. If you do, I'm sure you've already clicked the above image to download this bad boy. Either way, you won't be disappointed.
