This Album captures the energy in Moore's live performances and it's not hard to see why so many refer to his Hard Rock Days as being his best work. Like many great Artists Moores studio work is great but his live performances really bring out his energy, style and raw-rough cut edges giving the music more punch and balls. When you consider this guy sings and plays lead it's hard to see how he can do it all so proficiently.
The standout track on the Album for me is shapes of things where Moore just explodes during the guitar solo and takes it into another dimension for several minutes before returning back elegantly into the song.
Captured from several dates during his Victims Tour this is testament to an absolute Maestro on top of his game.
The only thing you'll be disappointed with about this Album is that you'll realise that you'll never be able to play a guitar like this guy.
