His musical story begins in Orleans (France) via Mongolia with the audacious duet "Un département". Then, Kanche releases his first solo album on Barclay, acclaimed by the press but with little commercial success. The younger audience knows his art but not his name by his friendship and collaborations with -M- ("Qui de nous deux"). Close to Bashung's style, Kanche and his looks that, in other times, would probably have lead him to star in a western as the bad boy, loves to write with words no other uses. With "Vertige des lenteurs" he produces one of his most accessible works, one that surprises by its musicality. We feel an accomplished artist that's never been so at ease with his art resulting in an astonishingly beautiful album that moves us and prints itself forever in our hearts.
