Hugues De Courson has taken some of Mozart's best known music and added a layer of Egyptian music which weaves in and out of the original melody in a fascinating way. The rhythms, sounds and harmonies of Egypt do seem to complement Mozart's music very well, and give you a completely worthy interpretation of the classics. The orchestral arrangements switch move from playing the music 'straight' into using oriental harmonies and styles, and the Egyptian instruments and singers augment the original, sometimes playing melodies in place of classical instruments, in other places playing new themes.
This may not be to everyone's taste, but I found it an excellent interpretation of Mozart's music, and it is highly listenable.
