Ever since I first heard Far, when Water and Solutions came out, I knew that they were something special. Jonah's lyrics were brilliant and fit so well with the music. Needless to say, I was really saddened to hear that Far had taken a semi-permanent vacation from Far to pursue other things. Of course, I was thrilled to learn that Jonah had started a solo project, Onelinedrawing.
This EP is more laid back and beautiful than the majority of Far songs. Jonah's lyrics are beautiful and deep, and I consider him one of the better lyricists around. His voice is equally amazing and conveys emotion brilliantly. But most importantly, not only is Jonah a great musician, he is a really nice guy as well. He really cares about fans and will personally communicate with you on his website. Every song is equally good, though my personal favorite is Aeroplanes. They were all recorded at home, and have a beautiful, basic sound to them. So, if you enjoy wonderful music, and great emotional vocals, buy this album. Its not overly long, but every minute is pure enjoyment.

Simple, passionate, real. I think that best describes Onelinedrawing. Those familiar with Onelinedrawing will know that this is the solo project from Jonah Mantranga (formerly of FAR and New End Original). The songs on Visitor are simple, yet complex in emotion. Most of the songs are very very mellow, some have more upbeat tempo's, but mostly this is a very relaxing and beautiful CD. Incredible vocals and lyrics that conjure feelings of Love, Loss, Happiness, and Sadness. Most songs are just Jonah and his guitar, and even some guest appearances by his friend R2D2. Oh yeah. Stand out songs: Um, Bitte Ein Kuss, and Smile. If you want a real singer, with real songs, check this CD out instead of that Dashboard Confessional-type garbage.
