Charles et les Lulus is the blues side project from Belgian singer/songwriter Arno. For his album, Arno has chosen expericenced musicians, composed a few songs and selected some classic blues tunes. It's a sweet album that his peculiar voice inhabits nicely and has been a well deserved commercial success as well as a "back to the roots" experienced for an artist who had begun his career in the psychedelic blues band Freckleface in 1972. He will later release a follow-up entitled Charles and the White Trash European Blues Connection.
