This was Chumbawamba's first commercial hit. It sounds like it too-kicking off with the over-played Tubthumping, melting into thier other hit-Amnesia, which is pure pop brilliance. Such anthems as Drip,Drip,Drip, Scapegoat and The Big Issue are wonderfuly fused together with electronic fillers and samples from nothern media. This is the chumba's polished album-it flows very well and has a mainstream quality to the sound and the sleve design (the sleve notes are v.detailed) but obliviously not the artwork. This is no sell out-just a great, anarchic pop record.
