Mixing post rock with indie rock and emo, Fireside released the masterpiece Elite is in 2000. Very few people noticed this was as good as the best of Radiohead or Blur is. This album will be a delight for those liking exploration from either of those bands and might very well be a revelation that Fireside (now split-up) had a potential nobody ever saw because of either their Swedish origin or independant recording contract. A shame, Elite is superb. A lost gem, a must try!
