Les Sheriff are the closest French punk ever came to the Ramones. Basic tempi, simple riffs, funny lyrics (involuntary funny at times), great energy and, above all, a constant concern about the efficiency of their down to earth punk rock attitude and music. Heading from Montpellier (south of France), Les Sheriff were not a political band, they weren't the most innovative of all, they were simply a punk act to pogo on! This album is their final, a live album whatsmore, showing how simply energetic and fun the band was with their easy-to-sing-along choruses and happy mood. Not the lighter or brighter side of punk but the certainly some of the "smiler"!
