MICHEL POLNAREFF (1974)
(A.K.A.) POLNARÊVE

This album, recorded in 1974 in Los Angeles and released the same year for the french market, is propably one of the most underrated Polnareff ever did. While there's no hit here none of the 9 songs and two instrumentals show any weakness. It's Polnareff at his best with a 70's pop inclinaison. Rich instrumentations (horns included with a slight cabaret/circus feel sometimes), the recording has been quite expensive employing the cream of L.A.'s session musicians, great songwriting, it's a delight for any pop lover and a confirmation of Polnareff's great talent at the time. A must hear!
