Now, this is something you don't hear everyday!
WHOURKR (pronounce it as you wish) are a French/Danish duet composed of Igorrr (guitars, electronics) & I Snor (vocals, electronics) who mixes death metal and grindcore with extreme electronica (aka breakcore & glitch electronica). I know this doesn't sound too appealing on paper but it is. The vocals have an "animal" quality, both in the extreme and melodic domain, that fits the band's concern for ecology pretty well. The music is quite deranged too, and that's a good thing. Their unusual mix got to me quite easily. Sure, it's chaotic and unfriendly, but that's what make it unique and fascinating too. The 14 themes (I dare not say songs) are quite short and the album itself is falls a little short of 40 minutes which is just long enough so that you don't grow tired of the formula.
So, to sum things up, WHOURKR's music isn't for everyone though everyone should try it. It's extreme, original and rewarding once you manage to get into it (I did), in two word: Entertainingly schizophrenic! A must try.
