Music for the animated movie composed by long time Tim Burton's partner Danny Elfman, The Nightmare Before Christmas is both a great movie and an album that perfectly holds on its own. The typical Elfman lyricism can be found throughout this sweet soundtrack. True, the theme (Jack, the Halloween creature getting tired of his feast and wanted to take over Christmas) was particularly fitting. I've played this soundtrack and watched the movie many times and I have yet to get tired of either of those. It's fun, it makes you want to sing along... In a word: GREAT!
