DARAN

Daran begins his musical journey at the age of seven when he starts to learn the guitar, he falls in love with the instrument and is then certain that music will be his life. Years later, a grown-up Daran goes to Paris, the year is 1991 and he forms the band Daran Et Les Chaises. Two albums will follow including two hits : "Aquarium" on the 1992 released "J'évite le soleil" and "Dormir dehors" on "Huit barré" released two years later. The band mixes pop, rock & blues with talent but Daran wants to expand his musical field and goes solo. 4 very different albums will then follow: Déménagé (a electronic rock album recorded and produced with Yarol Poupaud of the funk rock french band FFF) is modern while his successor "Augustin & Anita" displays a more folk/blues panorama. He also worked with many french artists such as Johnny Halliday, Florent Pagny, Sylvie Vartan, Steeve Estatof (winner of the french version of American Idol three years ago) but he never does better than on his own music.
