These are Serge Gainsbourg two final albums. Both have been recorded in the USA, both mix New York emerging electronic funk dance scene with some of Serge's most sexual poetry. Okay, this is not be considered among Mr. Gainsbourg greatest works, though, even Gainsbourg's weakest work reaches levels of excellence many other artists wouldn't have dreamt of. Here you'll find a bunch of late classics : Sorry Angel, No comment, Harley David son of a bitch and the very controversial Lemon Incest sang in duet with his then 12 years old daughter, Charlotte and, of course, the title track for the album Love on the beat; You're under arrest, Aux enfants de la chance and the Edith Piaf's cover Mon légionnaire for You're under arrest, his final studio recording. The very much 80's sound might not please everybody but, on the whole, those two albums are worth a try if Serge Gainsbourg's art appeals to you.
