David Baerwald... I interviewed him for this album, I had never heard of him before, never heard of his David & David duet with Ricketts and their one hit from their one album (Welcome to the Boomtown). His previous album, Bed Time Stories - which was gently provided by his record company together with this one to help me know more-, was kind of bland... So expectations were pretty low on Triage. And, damnit!, how wrong was I! Not only is David's songwriting of the finest kind but the lyrics are thoughtful and passionate, the arrangements adding a extra-flavor to it all. Basically, what you're having here is what should be expected from an adult american rocker with heart and soul: it sometimes is a raging blow, some others a sweet caress... It's a real gem, a lost one what more! GET IT NOW!
