Dré Pallemaerts has been playing as a drummer for many years already with Toots Thielemans, Philip Catherine, Bert Joris, Joe Lovano, John Scofield, and so many other jazz legends. Recently he has been playing in Yusef Lateef's sextet with the Belmondo brothers among others. "Pan Harmonie" is his very first album he composed and recorded personally...and whether you listen to the smooth melodies from "Where was I", or "Karma", "I had a king"(Joni Mitchell),the more up tempo "Bye Ya", the extraordinary tribute to Elvin Jones, "Mr.Jones", the music takes you up high in the clouds...I'm speechless. All credits to Jozef Dumoulin and his magic Fender rhodes chords,Stéphane Belmondo(chapeau), Mark Turner and Bill Carrothers, and ... ,the composer/drummer of course, Dré Pallemaerts!

superbe !
merci.
A+
