Jérôme Minière is almost unknown to the mainstream audiences. La Nuit Eclaire Le Jour Qui Suit, his second album, is a double album. First cd consists in indie chanson with an electronica feel while the second is instrumental and could be described as abstract electronic music. Of course, with 26 songs, this cannot be all perfect. There are some hesitations, mistakes, but the overall quality of this neurasthenic music is not to be challenged.
A double set for the open minded or rather a first set (chansons) that will appeal to those looking for indie chansons with a sad-twist and a second (instrumental electronic) for those who like playful and abstract electronic.
