Released in 1974, this is Alain Souchon's debut album. It's a short, nostalgia-ridden naive little album that has charm and humour and marks the birth of what was to become one of France's leading artists. This certainly has a clumsiness, a fragility that Souchon will soon get rid of and, for that reason, it has a little something special none of his following works will display. The songs are good and so is the production and arrangements and, well, this is all you need to know. Try it, you won't regret it.

Thanks - he is also very good as the hapless victim in the movie L'Ete Meurtrier (The Deadly Summer) with the beautiful Isabelle Adjani. Well worth watching if you can find it.
Cheers, Graham
