It's at the théâtre des Champs-Élysées, a familiar place with many memories (his Grand Mother used to work there) that William Sheller had chosen to record his 2001's live album. A classy and witty master of ceremony, Sheller invites the audience to share his world made of irresistible pop songs, sharp rockers and symphonic epics. Surrounded by an almost orchestral formation - 19 musicians, no less ! - William delivers 21 perfect musical moments for the great joy of the lucky few in the room. This double album is enjoyable from beginning to end and, as always with Sheller, displays a clever mix of his classics and a few nice surprises amon whose the quasi-metal version of "Excalibur" particulary shines. A winner and a must hear.
