As requested by one of the visitors, here's Arthur H debut album. What to say about it? It certainly is a shining introduction to the son of Jacques Higelin's art as well as it is a proof of an artist yet to find his own sound. This is the jazzier album ever released by Arthur H, one on which he displays the deep/broken voice that will become his trademark, one that has an exquisite horn section, one that has many great compositions to swing too. Keep in mind that Arthur was only 24 when he released this album which is quite amazing as this is quite an accomplished work for such a young man. All in all, if this 1990 opus doesn't reach the heights Négresse Blanche (2003) & Adieu Tristesse (2005) will, it sure is a good album that will please both the jazz and French chanson lovers.
