This is the definitive live Johnny Winter release, that accurately captures the early fire that made him a legend. Add the stunning guitar counterpart of Rick Derringer, probably also at his top, and the outcome is an unbelievably strong show from start to finish. Their interplay on the opening cut, "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" is special, and makes this a memorable version of an tune often covered. The guitar stars trade licks on a series of Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee covers, backed by a solid rhythm section. This is a favorite release of mine, I only wish it were longer.

Quite possibly the greatest live album of all time - and yes I wish it was longer too - can't believe no unreleased tracks have surfaced in all this time. When Johnny yells "Rock and Roooooooooll" at the start of Johnny B Goode you know this is the real deal.
