Listening to this album is like experiencing the band live. The production is of extremely poor quality, but adds to the brilliant grittiness of the album and actually accentuates the beautiful guitar work on tracks like "Punishment kiss" and "Potato Junkie." The CD contains some of their angriest material, and is probably their least pop-influenced release to date. Die hard fans of Semi-detached and Infernal love may be quite dissatisfied, but I strongly recommend this cd to all who can appreciate the beauty of brutality.
