Even in France, Ganafoul is a well kept secret. Most of those who know about them have grey hair on their heads and lived a passionate youth listening to pure, uncompromised hard rock'n'roll. 'Cause that's what the this three-piece is all about, good old hard rock'n'roll that will please those who like the real Status Quo (i.e. not that bunch of old farts releasing mediocre albums for more than 20 years), AC/DC (Bon Scott era) or Aerosmith at their rockiest (minus the ballads, that is). Sure, the production is not of the most refined you'll ever hear, granted singer/guitarist Jack Bon is not the best lyricist you'll ever meet and his english is sometimes pretty questionable. Nethertheless, this is a damn good piece of powerful rock'n'roll and a little gem too few people have heard about. Try it.
