Many consider this to be Higelin's first solo recording, I don't. In fact, I consider it to be Higelin & Areski second album together as this displays more of the same minimalistic psychedelic chanson. On what was the vinyl A'side, you have four songs which range from folk to experimental (Tiens, j'ai dis tiens) while the B'side is entirely devoted to a 20 minutes studio jam (Musique rituelle du Mont des Abesses). All in all, this is a good album even if Higelin will do better, in a way more rock style, a few years later. Another essential for Higelin's completists and an album which perfectly pictures the spirit of its time. Try it.
