In 1992, the independant French rock/punk label Boucherie Productions released a tribute to two great tragedians of the classic French Chanson : Piaf and Fréhel.
Many of the label's bands took part in it along with friends from the scene. Here you have the famous french pop artist Etienne Daho, the parodic belgian duet Stellla, the fun punk rockers Les Wampas. The quality is uneven (as it always is on tribute albums) but some gems do save this peculiar compilation and make it worth a listen even if Piaf and Fréhel are not your "Cup of Beaujolais".
