Better known as half of much loved pop rock combo Supergrass, Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey’s latest side project, The Hot Rats, got their first festival airing on the Park Stage at Glastonbury this year.
Working with legendary producer Nigel Godrich, Coombes and Goffey have embarked on producing a ‘Pin-Ups’ style album covering favourite tracks from some of their rock heroes from the past 40 years. With whispers of the likes of Syd Barrett, Gang Of Four and The Sex Pistols floating out of the dark recesses of the studio, their festival appearances this summer whipped the crowds into a rock and roll frenzy.
